2x6 deck board
The picture below is a classic example of the use of 2x6 (maybe 2x8's?) used as the surface decking on a set of deck stairs. also used for wooden stairs are 2x8's, 2x10's and 2x12's. Believe us, if your a small lumberyard, you'll want to keep a little of each of these in stock. You'll be surprised at how much your builders will appreciate being able to choose which board to use for the stairs on a deck!
This deck board isn't available in shorts. Of course we can custom mill that for you!
